Directions for E-Learning 2020
Starting Monday, April 27, 2020 all new classwork for Science and Social Studies for 3rd-5th grade and 5th grade religion will be posted on your class Seesaw site instead of here. I sent an email with the link and the code to set up your class. If you did not get the email please contact me at [email protected]. If at all possible, if you can sign up by 9PM Sunday, I will assign the work to you then. You will get assignments daily. I need to assign them individually the first time you sign up so if you sign up Mon. be patient while I get your assigned to you. Each grade has their own code. You will be able to submit the work right from the Seesaw site when you finish it.
When you use Seesaw, you should always check your inbox for messages from me and for your weekly email/directions. You will check your activities for your assignments and use the journal to write and respond. Always choose to submit your work when you are done, or else I will not get it to grade.

E-LEARNING FOR GRADES 3, 4, AND 5 Science and Social Studies
E-LEARNING Packets/Complete Snow Day Packets were sent home in Wednesday's folder on 12/11/2109 with materials to work on in case the school is closed due to excessive snow. We will use these for our first 2 days of
E-learning due to our school closing starting on March 16th. There is a link to the work at the end of this site, if you have misplaced your packet. I will update your assignments daily after that. Work will be posted below.

For 5th grade Religion: on March 16th and 17th
1. Please pray for those who may be having trouble on this day- (the homeless, those who are traveling, the elderly, the sick. the disabled people, people who are ill that they stay warm, safe, and have everything they need.
2. Think of a way you can help a family member today.
If your parents/ guardians allow you to, please try to help someone today. Maybe you can help shovel. Maybe you can bring someone who has been outside shoveling, a warm blanket to help them warm up when they come inside. Maybe you will help someone dust, etc. Whatever you do be kind and find some way to help someone today.
3. Read any passage in your Bible and do a Bible reflection like we do in class. Respond to what you read in your reflection.

1. Label the 50 states on the U.S.A. map with one color pencil or pen. Hint: If you are not sure where the states are, use the map in your planner to help you with this assignment.
2. Draw a star and label the capitals with a second color.
3. Fill in the key with the correct color you used for the state and the other color that you used for the capital.
4. What State Am I? - Use the clues to name each state.
5. Practice memorizing the states.
