Grade 3 Religion:   Religion: 1. Listen to the story of Noah and the Ark in the link in Google Classroom from Genesis 6-10. Draw a picture of Noah obeying God.  How can you obey God?

Friday Jan. 12th Work for grade 3:  Religion: Pray and thank God for all his blessings. 
 Then pray the "Our Father," 
Finally, pray for those who are outside, travelling, or homeless. 
Then find some way you can help or encourage someone in your family. Grade 3 ELA:  Study your spelling words. Grade 3 Social Studies and ELA: 1. Read the story about Dr. Martin Luther King on Google Classroom On a separate piece of paper, number it 1 through 5 and write the answers on that. Be sure to bring the answers to school on Tues.  
2. Read the poem.
3.  Did you like the poem? Why or why not?
4. What is your dream? Draw a picture of it and write aa story about your dream for the future.

Grades 4 and 5: YOUR WORK IS  ALL POSTED IN OUR ELA GOOGLE CLASSROOM FOR ALL THE SUBJECTS I TEACH.
​1.YOUR REPORT ON THE PERSON YOU WERE ASSIGNED FROM THE REVOLUTIONARY WAR WAS DUE TODAY, SO PRACTICE PRESENTING IT AND BE SURE TO BRING IT WHEN WE RETURN.  BE SURE YOU HAVE EDITED IT CORRECTLY AND THAT YOU HAVE LISTED AT LEAST 3 DIFFERENT REFERENCES LISTED AT THE END.
  2. COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. ASSIGNMENTS, WRITE THE ANSWERS ON A SEPERATE SHEET OF PAPER AND RETURN IT WHEN YOU RETURN TO  SCHOOL.

3. Writing Project:   Choose ONE of the following and write about it: Write a letter to Dr. King thanking him for his work and explaining how it has impacted your life.  or Imagine you are Dr. King and write a speech about your dream for the future.   or Write a story about a time when you or someone you know stood up for what is right, even when it was difficult.   or Write a poem about Dr. King and his legacy.      or Write a persuasive essay about why it is important to treat everyone with kindness and respect.                                                                                   4. PRACTICE YOUR SPELLING WORDS, YOUR TEST WILL BE WHEN WE RETURN.
